Copy typing printed and handwritten text

Fingertips have a team of copy typists and proof readers to provide copy typing services from a range of sources. We can type from printed and handwritten text.

Many clients send PDF and scanned documents that they require typing up from scratch into Word. We can print these or provide online typing by viewing the documents in side by side mode.

Large projects can also be sent via courier or in the post. We can use the same front, margins and layout, and keep the exact same text on the page if required.

Copy typing different font styles

It is amazing to think how far technology has come over the past 50 years or more. As much as the typewriter was a wonderful invention, using the computer, a virtual typewriter online, saves so much time. Imagine having to start the document all over again because you made a mistake or missed out a word!

Would you be surprised to learn that the history of the typed word goes back to 1575 when an Italian printmaker, Francesco Rampazetto, invented the scrittura tattile, a machine to impress letters in papers?

The IBM Golf Ball was considered cutting edge technology in the 80s, but fast forward to the 2020s and see what the copy typing services team can do for you with our current technology.

Recently we had to type a document from a very old style font from the 1800s. This type of English typing is extremely difficult to read but our typist did a wonderful job and the client was very pleased.
